Barry Town United 1-1 Newtown
Barry Scorer: Jon Hood 38'
Newtown Scorer: Ethan Jones 15'
Barry Town United secured seventh place in the table, and with it a place in the European Playoffs, with a 1-1 draw against Newtown at Jenner Park.
In a game of few chances, Jonathan Hood's fine strike seven minutes before the break was enough to ensure a point, cancelling out Ethan Jones' opener for the Robins.
The visitors started well, and went in front after fifteen minutes. Robins midfielder Ryan Kershaw dispossessed Ryan Newman in the centre of the park before releasing Jones with a great through ball. Jones then raced through to slot home past Mike Lewis.
Barry looked to be heading into half time behind, until a ball from Chris Hugh down the left found Hood. The winger had a lot to do still, but cut back into the box and curled his shot into the far corner of the Robins' goal.
The visitors could have gone back in front before the break, Jones volleying a Luke Boundford cross straight at Lewis. Jones was also involved in the Robins' opening chance of the second half, mopping up a cleared corner and crossing for Kieran Mills-Evans, but the defender struck his shot straight at Lewis.
Boundford came closest to breaking the scoring after that, his shot from the edge of the box taking a massive deflection which wrong-footed Lewis before striking the crossbar.
