The Football Association of Wales (FAW) and Nathaniel MG Cars have today (Friday 3rd) announced a new sponsorship deal for the Welsh Premier League Cup.

The deal is the biggest in the competition’s history and will see its name remain as the Nathaniel MG Cup for the next four seasons, having been so since Nathaniel Cars became the headline sponsor back in 2016/17.
The Bridgend-based company is a well-established name in south Wales and beyond, with over thirty years’ experience of helping customers buy, sell and maintain their cars.
Nathaniel also have a long history of sporting sponsorship, and this extended deal adds to their existing commitment to Welsh sport.
Commenting on the deal, Ian Davis, Head of Commercial and Marketing at the FAW, said “We’re delighted to extend our relationship with Nathaniel MG Cars. They’ve been a valued partner of ours for the previous two seasons and the commitment they have shown to the domestic game in Wales by signing a new four-year term is fantastic to see.
“The Nathaniel MG Cup is a competition that is growing year on year and we’re looking forward to working with Nathaniel MG on continuing that growth over the next four seasons.”

The draw for Round 1 of the 2018/19 competition, which features 24 sides, will be made on Monday at the Nathaniel Cars showroom in Bridgend and released on the JD Welsh Premier League Facebook page that evening.
