Callum Sainty has left Barry to join Hereford
The latest departure from Jenner Park sees the young midfielder join Hereford FC. He leaves the club just after two-and-a-half seasons having made over 30 first team appearances last term.
In his only season in the Welsh Premier league, Sainty played 15 times (+6 substitute) appearances scoring one goal against Carmarthen Town.
Barry have already announced that James Demetriou has left for Australian side Sydney Olympic and another forward Tyrell Webbe has switched to Carmarthen Town. All is good with the return of Drew Fahiya.
However, The Dragons are happy to announce that goalkeeper Michael Lewis has penned a long term contract extension with the club, with highly-committed defender Luke Cooper also agreeing to a new two-year contract.
Last week the club announced the signing of midfielder Clayton Green from Carmarthen.
Gavin Chesterfield commented: “Luke continues to grow considerably at the club and I’m pleased he has committed his long term future to us. He has the ability to become one of the leading central defenders in this league and I’m looking forward to helping him achieve both his team and personal goals".
