Bala Town FC have announced departing Lakesiders.

The Lakesiders have had to part ways with several players leaving the side.

Right back John Disney has signed for Connah’s Quay. Bala Town have reported that Disney was struggling with the travelling back and forth to training and matchdays from the Manchester area.

Also departing is Jordan Evans who has signed for Cefn Druids. Evans joined last season from Wrexham and made 29 (+11) appearances and scored 5 goals including one in the JD Welsh Cup Final v The New Saints in 2017.

Glenn Rule who started 18 games last season will be joining Stalybridge Celtic. Lewis Short was offered terms with the Lakesiders, but he has decided to move on to pastures new. Andrai Jones, Lee Owens and David Thompson. have also left the Club.

On the bright side, Colin Caton continues to shape his squad with the addition of 24 year old right back Andrew Burns from Tamworth.

The club are also delighted to unveil centre forward Steven Tames, known for his recent prolific goalscoring record of 49 goals in 90 appearances for Witton Albion.

Centre half Anthony Miley has also put pen to paper with the Lakesiders, joining from Bangor City having made 28 starts last season.
