Baynes swaps Airbus for Llandudno

Wes becomes latest signing at Giant Hospitality Stadium

Llandudno have signed Wes Baynes from Huws Gray Alliance side Airbus UK Broughton.

The former Connah's Quay, Wrexham and Chester player has signed a contract at the club until the end of the current season.

Speaking to the club website, manager Iwan Williams said "I’ve tracked Wes for a number of years, even during his Wrexham days, he will come in and give us versatility, quality, and experience. His deliveries into the box and long throw capabilities can provide us with added threats going forward. After meeting with Wes I’m sure he’ll fit in great to a squad that’s in high spirits after our derby win.”

The player is keen to get started, saying “After speaking with Iwan I’m very excited at the prospect of playing back in the Welsh Premier League for Llandudno, and hopefully helping them in their next two games of achieving that sixth spot everyone desires.”

Baynes will wear the number 6 shirt, and is eligible for this weekend's clash with Bala Town.
