Powell Adds Attacking Midfielder to Seasiders' Squad

Aberystwyth Town Manager Neville Powell has moved quickly to strengthen his squad, one day into the January transfer window, with the signing of attacking midfielder Tom Owens from Radcliffe Borough.

The 26-year old hails from Liverpool and he is a goalscoring midfielder, netting three times from nine appearances for Radcliffe this season, which also gained him three Man of the Match nominations.

He has previously played with Preston North End (2003-10) and FC London before moving to the USA where he played for Michigan Bucks. The Liverpool-born player currently coaches with Liverpool FC International Academy and has a Master of Communications from Quincy University.

The Black and Greens are awaiting international clearance from The FA and hope he will be able to join the squad for Saturday's live televised match at Cardiff Met. (17:30 ko).
