JD Welsh Premier League Statement: Carmarthen Town AFC

Statement relating to FAW Disciplinary Panel meeting held this week.

An FAW Disciplinary Panel met this week to hear the charge against Carmarthen Town AFC of fielding an ineligible player during their 2-0 win against Llanelli Town on Tuesday 1st January 2019.

Carmarthen were charged with a Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.2, for the alleged breach of Rule 18 of the JD Welsh Premier League Rules 2018/19 for playing an ineligible player.

David Vincent represented the Old Gold in the aforementioned game, but was suspended for one match as and from 28th December 2018 for accumulating 5 cautions.

The Panel found the charge against Carmarthen to be proven, and as a result the club will be deducted three points from their League playing record, and fined £250.

Carmarthen have until the close of business on 18th February 2019 to lodge an appeal against this decision.

Mae Panel Disgyblu Cymdeithas Bêl-droed Cymru wedi penderfynu cosbi Clwb Caerfyrddin am chwarae David Vincent o dan waharddiad trwy ddiddymu triphwynt cynghrair a chodi dirwy o £250.

Chwaraeodd Vincent dros glwb Caerfyrddin yn erbyn Llanelli yn UGC JD Ddydd Calan 2019 pan nad oedd yn gymwys i wneud hynny gan ei fod wedi ei wahardd am un gêm o’r 28ain o Ragfyr 2018 ymlaen gan iddo dderbyn pum cerdyn melyn o ddechrau’r tymor.

Bydd gan glwb Caerfyrddin yr hawl i apelio yn erbyn y penderfyniad cyn ddiwedd oriau busnes ar y 18fed o Chwefror 2019.
