Saints go four clear after emphatic win at Bala

Seven goals send the leaders clear with four to play

Bala Town 0-7 The New Saints

A ruthless display from leaders The New Saints tonight saw them move four points clear at the top of the table as they put seven past Bala at Maes Tegid.

First half strikes from Ryan Brobbel and Danny Redmond had opened up a two-goal cushion at the break, and a third two minutes after the restart from Greg Draper looked to have locked in the points for the visitors.

Scott Ruscoe's side were in no mood to let up however. Sub Adrian Cieslewicz scored seconds after coming on to make it four, before another substitute Dean Ebbe headed home the fifth fifteen minutes from time.

Saints continued to press even at this stage, Draper and Cieslewicz both grabbing another goal to round off the night and take their side four points clear of Connah's Quay.
